As the Deputy Principal in charge of school administration, I took over from Mr. Paul Mutemi, who was promoted to Principal in Makueni, Machakos County, under the leadership of our Principal –Mr. Ken Bunyasi, our school has experienced significant growth and success.

School Expansion and Growth
Since 2017, our extra-county boys' boarding school has seen remarkable expansion. We currently have five streams, catering to a diverse student body. The school's ability to maintain high academic standards amid this growth is a testament to our dedicated teaching staff and effective administration.

Teaching Faculty and Staff
We have a total of 45 teachers, encompassing a mix of experienced educators and enthusiastic new hires. This diverse faculty has been essential in delivering quality education to our students. The teachers' commitment to academic excellence and student welfare is reflected in our improved KCSE results and overall school performance.

Infrastructure and Resources
To support our growth, we have undertaken significant infrastructure projects, including new dormitories, classroom renovations, and expanded laboratory facilities. These efforts have not only improved the learning environment but have also enhanced student comfort and safety.

Discipline
The school has come up with its own code of conduct to govern individual students' conduct as well as interpersonal relationships between the students, staff members, the school community and stakeholders.  The School encourages and rewards self-discipline where students are being trained on how to work and operate without much supervision from teachers. This is also being done through inculcating strong leadership skills in our student leaders through training and mentorship programmes throughout the year. The office of the deputy principal hangs on a very strong belief that discipline can only be tackled on a two-way front i.e teachers and parents together and therefore frequently invites parents and guardians to sort out indiscipline cases that impede on the academic performance of the students and hamper harmonious co-existence in the school. This is especially true when a student lacks self-drive and self-sacrifice.

It is important to note that being in school means denying oneself the comforts and pleasures found at home and focusing on a sole goal – performance. Although the school cannot boast of a very good performance in the recent past, we can promise our esteemed parents a bright future in the coming years. ‘Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do." a quote from one of our African icons, the first black president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela. Our desire is the dedication and the commitment that comes with it to make this school the pride of every parent.

Challenges and Opportunities
Despite our progress, we face several challenges. The increased student population has put pressure on resources and required more strategically allocating classrooms and teachers. Additionally, maintaining discipline across a larger student body has become more complex, requiring additional support and oversight.
Looking ahead, there are opportunities for further expansion, particularly through the introduction of technology in classrooms and the potential to add more streams to meet the rising demand for enrollment.

Gratitude
Finally, I must thank and appreciate all the teachers, members of the non-teaching staff, and more so the school Principal Mr Ken Bunyasi for his stewardship thus far. Above all we appreciate our Almighty God for His immense favours to this beautiful community and thank our Board of Management, the PA, sponsors, and students for making the dreams of the founders of this institution a reality. You and I, we Aspire and Inspire

Conclusion
Our school's growth since 2017 has been commendable, and it is my honor to contribute to this success. I look forward to working with the entire school fraternity to address our challenges and seize the opportunities ahead. May the Almighty continue to propel our school to greater heights.
