House Structure and Care:
Each housing unit is overseen by a prefect-in-charge. These prefects play a pivotal role in fostering a sense of community, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of students within their respective houses.
Cleanliness and Hygiene:
We understand the importance of maintaining a clean and hygienic living environment. To this end, we have implemented a rigorous daily cleaning routine for all housing units. Our diligent cleaning staff, along with the assistance of student prefects assigned to each room, ensures that the living spaces are kept tidy and comfortable. These prefects play a vital role in promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork within the boarding community.
A Sense of Belonging:
Our goal is to create an environment where students feel a strong sense of belonging, and where they can grow both academically and personally. Through the support of house masters, house mistresses, teachers-in-charge, and dedicated staff, we strive to make our boarding community a second home for every student.
Celebrating Excellence
At the culmination of each academic year, we celebrate the achievements of our boarding houses in academics, cleanliness, and sporting activities. The house that excels in these areas is awarded a symbol of victory—a bull—to commemorate its outstanding performance. This tradition not only fosters healthy competition but also promotes a sense of pride, teamwork, and accomplishment within our boarding community.
Health and Well-being
Ms. Jackline Oduor (School Nurse)The well-being of our boarding students is of paramount importance to us. Our school sanatorium is staffed by a well-qualified nurse, Ms. Jackline Oduor. Her expertise and caring demeanour ensure that students receive the necessary medical attention and support whenever needed. We prioritize the physical and emotional health of our students, creating a safe and secure environment where they can flourish.
Catering and Meals
Our well-trained kitchen staff, led by the experienced school cateress, Lynette Khaemba, and our head cook, Elijah Owade, ensures that our boarding students enjoy delicious and nutritious meals throughout the day. We provide a balanced meal plan that includes Breakfast, 10 o'clock tea, Lunch, and supper, allowing our students to stay energized and focused on their studies.
Community and Collaboration:
Beyond academics, our boarding community is a platform for personal growth and social development. Lifelong friendships are forged, and valuable life skills are acquired. We foster a positive and respectful atmosphere where students can thrive both academically and socially.
As we embark on this journey together, we extend our gratitude for entrusting us with the well-being and education of your sons. Our boarding community is not just a place to reside; it's a haven for growth, learning, and shared experiences.
