He recounted a humorous anecdote from his time at Hospital Hill High School, reminiscing about the days when he thought one of his teachers, Mr Owino, was an "animal" due to his strict demeanour.
Ngatia went on to recall his duty week experiences, particularly highlighting Mr Owino's insistence on "feather drop silence" during preps. Initially viewing it as an unnecessary imposition, Ngatia later realized the significance of the discipline enforced by the senior teacher, acknowledging that it ultimately contributed to his academic success and attainment of an A grade.
The audience erupted into laughter as Ngatia's playful recollection provided a moment of levity amidst the earnest reflections on academic achievement. It served as a reminder that amidst the rigours of education, there are moments of humour and camaraderie that make the journey memorable.
