TERM I 2026 – END TERM NEWSLETTER 1ST APRIL 2026
DEAR PARENT/GUARDIAN,
We have today Wednesday 1st April 2026 at 7.00 am released your son for the April Holiday break. As you collect your son, you may take note of the following dates:

- Academics
Students in Form 3 sat for their End of Term I examinations that ended on 13th March 2026 Grade 10 had their internal assessment between 18th to 23rd March 2026 and all have been issued with report card and a newsletter. Results are available on zeraki through (admission number@hospitalhill) kindly discuss the results with your son. The Form 4 Pre-Mock ended on 31st March 2026 and their Report Forms will be issued to parents as boys report back from the holiday break, however, a soft copy of the same can be accessed on Zeraki as from Friday 10th April 2026.
Holiday assignment for all students (Grade 10 - Form 4) is available on our school website: www. hospitalhill.sc.ke
We shall start Mandarine (Chinese) classes in term 2, interested learners to register with the Deputy Principal Academics.
NB: ALL learners are expected to have a four figure Mathematical table (7th edition), a set and a scientific calculator FXMS82.
2. School Academic Trips:
In order to enhance the learning and understanding of Fasihi and Literature set books, the Languages Department has organized stage performance for the six set books at a fee of Ksh.800./=
All the candidates plan for a trip in August to the Geo-Thermal station in Longonot and The Hells Gate at a cost-sharing rate of Ksh1,500/= per student.
3. Co-curricular Activities:
Our boys participated in various activities up to the regional levels. The Hockey and Athletics Teams have proceeded for national competitions which will take place in Kisumu from 5th to 11thApril 2026. The Chess Team will proceed to Mangu School for the nationals.
4. Discipline Report:
We wish to inform you that Term I 2026 has run smoothly with very few cases of student’s indiscipline reported. All cases were handled by the teachers’ disciplinary committee.
5. School meals:
All parents are reminded that the school offers a standard menu for all students and that there is no provision for special diet as this may not be financially sustained. All students are therefore required to take meals as provided by the school kitchen.
6. Boarding.
Parents are reminded to check their son’s uniform and replace the worn out and the outgrown. We appreciate parents for ensuring your sons have tracksuits, rubber shoes (Bata Bullets), T-shirt and Maasai shukas as per the student’s house colour. i.e Nyati–Yellow, Kifaru– Green, Simba– Red and Ndovu–Blue
For those affected ensure you take your son for medical check up on dental and optician as this is not handled by our school Nurse.
7. 2026 School fees:
The school has had challenging financial situation this term, which made it difficult to continually sustain the boys in school. This has been occasioned by some parents/guardians who do not honour their parental obligations. To avoid the above situation, we advise that you pay your fees in full by the opening day to allow proper planning and avoid disruptions due to non-payments of school fees.

- As was discussed and agreed during the 2025 AGM meeting, each student is expected to pay an extra Ksh. 4,000.00 per term as budget supplementary.
- The school fees should be paid through school Account No.055- 1009750 Absa bank Muthaiga branch. Or Lipa Na Mpesa pay Bill No. 573018 Account No. is Student’s Admission No. and name.
NB. The school will not be able to support any student with a fee balance.
